The birth of salt and sweat

The Birth of Salty Hash

///

First off, today marks my 5th year of full-time professional software development. In this time I have been employed both as a freelancer and corporate cog. The subject of my projects span: Web Apps, Android, Databases, and Industrial Equipment interface (TCP/IP & JMS). The sole intended purpose of this site is to act as an external mind dump as I battle through the modern software development landscape. Behold, I present:

saltyhash.org

The view count on this website is currently 0. In fact, even as I write this I don’t even own the domain name I seek to obtain. The name was chosen to represent a few things: my current geolocation of Salt Lake City, UT, a severe passion for breakfast foods, and my affinity for secure hashing algorithms. Hopefully this will not to be mistaken for an e-commerce site selling sodium laden narcotics.

For those of you who won’t be included in my bounce rate statistic, and decide to stick around; I hope to supply you with at least some helpful material. I am dedicating myself to post coding tutorials, documentation, algorithm problems, data structure material, tips/tricks, career insights, and similar software developer related material. Like I said… a mind dump.

Stay salty friends.
